Pet Calendar Contest
Grab your camera and get ready to make your pet a star! Our 2025 Calendar Contest is open, and we will take submissions until November 1, 2024!
Space is limited, but ALL entries will be printed in the 2025 Calendar.
Only 11 photogenic animals will be chosen for the large monthly feature photos.
We expect our 2025 calendars to arrive for pick up/shipment in early December 2024!

2024 Pet Calendar Contest
Grab your camera and get ready to make your pet a star! Our Calendar Contest is open, and we will take submissions until November 1, 2024!
PHOTO QUALITY AND FORMAT Photos must be IN FOCUS (not blurry) and landscape in orientation (aka horizontal or sideways). Square or vertical images will be cropped to fit a horizontal calendar design (ideally 16:9 ratio). This may substantially alter the photo and your photo may be excluded from voting if cropping causes the photo to no longer meet size and resolution requirements. All images must be digital and submitted electronically (no prints) and be at least 720×450 pixels and saved in JPEG (.jpg) format, but BIGGER is BETTER! Original size preferred. File formats other than JPEG will not be accepted. Photos that do not meet these size and format requirements will NOT be considered for a large monthly feature photo but will still be included as a thumbnail somewhere in the calendar. Submitters may ask for us to check the size for them and re-submit, but otherwise the submitter will NOT be contacted automatically if their image is too small.
PHOTO NAME Please name electronic files with your pet’s name and your last name, example: FluffySmith.jpg

PHOTO CONTENT Cat(s) and/or dog(s) must be the focus of the photo (other animals may be in the photo, but no humans are allowed in photos). Tips: Photos with a clear subject, good lighting, and a non-distracting background are often the most successful. Heartwarming, scenic, or humorous photos are also popular.
GENERAL CONTEST INFORMATION The contest is open to everyone. You may submit as many entries as you wish, provided you pay the required entry fee for each. Submitting more than one entry will not guarantee or help your chances of selection. ALL entries meeting the criteria listed below will be printed somewhere in the calendar. The winners of the 11 monthly features will be selected through a combination of judging and online voting. Wachusett Brewing Co. has the right to refuse any photographs due to quality and/or any other reason the photo is deemed inappropriate. All decisions are final. All contest entrants must agree to the disclaimer below stating that Wachusett Brewing Co. may use the photos.
SUBMITTING YOUR PHOTO To submit a photo, first complete the Online Entry Form and then email your horizontal image to socialmedia@wachusettbrew.com. Please read all rules before emailing your photo.
ENTRY FEE There is a $10 entry fee for each photo submitted. This fee is for entering the contest only; a calendar is not included with this entry fee. If you would like to pre-order a calendar as well, they are $20 each and can be ordered through the entry form. We must have a completed entry form and fee before your photo will be considered. Photos emailed without completion of the entry form will not be considered. Contest participants can pay with credit card online through the entry form. Proceeds will be donated to the Worcester Animal Rescue League at the conclusion of the campaign.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION All entries and fees must be received by 11:59 p.m. November 1, 2024, to be eligible for consideration.

All attempts will be made to credit the photographer but is not guaranteed. All submitted photos will be property of Wachusett Brewing Co., who may use the photo as deemed necessary. Wachusett Brewing Co. is not responsible for any errors, loss or damage regarding the photographs/entries. All contestants agree to release and hold harmless Wachusett Brewing Co., all sponsors and representatives from all claims or actions, they, their heirs, executors or assigns may have arising directly or indirectly from this contest.
